Hviezdoslavov Kubín
The oldest and most prestigious competition in art recitation. The ultimate event that creates and shapes the culture of the Slovak nation. We prepare competitions from the district to the regional level.
Hviezdoslavov Kubín is a nationwide competition and show in the artistic presentation of poetry and prose, in the creation of recitation groups and theatres of poetry for children, youth and adults. It is the oldest and most prestigious competition in an artistic presentation and a top event that creates and shapes the culture of the Slovak nation. In the presentation of poetry and prose it is open in five categories for all interested people from school to senior age and in two ages for recitative collectives and theatres of poetry.
Our educational centre prepares advancing competitions from the district to the regional level. In their preparation, we cooperate with several schools and cultural facilities - ZŠ Pieniská 27, B.Bystrica, ZŠ Moskovská 2, B.Bystrica, Hotel Academy Brezno, Academy of Arts Banská Bystrica, State Scientific Library B.Bystrica, Puppet Theater at the Crossroads Banská Bystrica.
The top event is the Regional Show SLÁDKOVIČOVA RADVAŇ, which we have been organizing for more than 60 years.
